Calgary Company Poised To Commercialize Small-Scale LNG

The Daily Oil Bulletin spoke to Colin Nikiforuk, CTO of Cool Ventures, about his improvements to 160-year-old refrigeration technology to make LNG a winning formula for small-scale applications.

Cool's modified aqua ammonia absorption refrigeration process is capable of providing ammonia refrigerant chilling down to -75 C at a chiller operating pressure of five kilopascal absolute.
